Launched in 2012, the New Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition is a shared commitment to achieve sustained inclusive, agriculture-led growth in Africa. Five years after its launch, the US, the UK and Germany as development partners of the New Alliance commissioned IFPRI to review the New Alliance and assess its performance. Specifically, the report analyses the progress that has been made in achieving commitments made by major stakeholders (government, private companies, and development partners). The report includes country case studies from Ghana, Nigeria, Benin and Burkina Faso.
