The different communications instruments of the Platform support the overall objective and mission of the Platform and enable it to effectively use its knowledge network to enhance development results in agriculture and rural livelihoods through better informed donor policy and programming. The products support the broader outreach to include the knowledge and expertise from other public and private donors towards the mission of the Platform. The website and the products increase the visibility, credibility and accurate understanding of the Platform. They present the Platform as an institution that is results-oriented, learns from experience, is willing to listen to its stakeholders and works in harmony with other development partners and member countries.
