Conrad Rein

Conrad Rein joined the European Commission, DG INTPA, in 2015. He works on policy issues and coordinates EU development cooperation on food and nutrition security as well as rural development with EU Member States, the G7, and the G20.

He holds a PhD in Government from University College Cork, and a BA and MA from Leipzig University. He has previously worked for the United Nations, the Hudson Institute, and the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, in addition to work in the private sector.
